Tote bag designed by participants from our Refugee Programme
New tote-bag designed by a member of a Mental Health Foundation Refugee Programme.
The artwork on stylish tote bag was created during a workshop at the Glasgow Museum of Modern Art to represent the theme of 'community'.
We know that refugees are often at a greater risk of experiencing poor mental health. Our programmes address this risk through peer support, working with the arts, tackling racism, and supporting community engagement.
Syeda says her work:
represents the strength and beauty of mental health communities. Interconnected people who are around the city symbolise support, growth, and resilience. The design aims to break stigmas surrounding mental health, promoting a sense of belonging and understanding.
Together, we can cultivate a supportive community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Let's nurture a culture of compassion and understanding, one connection at a time.
If this message resonates with you, then why not purchase our lovely new tote bag and raise vital funds that enable our work?
